An outdated law from 1985 against nuclear power prevents an effective Danish climate effort

The Swedish scientist and Nobel laureate in chemistry (1903) Svante Arrhenius (1859-1927) was one of the first to predict climate change influenced by human activities with CO2 in the atmosphere and subsequent temperature rise. Svante Arrhenius researched meteorology, climate, etc. for a.o. to understand why the planet had undergone the various periods of ice ages a.o. We should have stopped the pollution of CO2 in the atmosphere 100 years ago, but not until now and perhaps too late are we convinced of the problem of CO2 emissions due to human activities.

Descendant of Svante Arrhenius is a young Swedish schoolgirl Greta Thunberg (2003-), who carries on her ancestor's thoughts and has made the world's political leaders aware of the sins of the past and present. Her message is that political leaders need to listen not to her but to science, but they place greater emphasis on economic growth and listen to the industrialists and believe in a green transition that is actually more black than green. US President Joe Biden wants to increase gas and oil production, China with coal and Germany with lignite, etc. Denmark focuses on wind and solar, but the so-called renewable energy provides only little energy, as the majority is backup of wood (biomass) from the world's forests, burned in power plants. 8% of the Amazon forest area, = Spain, has been cleared since 2000.
